Where Can I Get Proof of Pregnancy for Free?

A drugstore pregnancy test is convenient; however, if the test is positive, you will still need an ultrasound to assess if the pregnancy is in the right location, verify viability (if the pregnancy is developing), and measure how far along you are. We can conduct a free medical-grade urine pregnancy test if you think you might be pregnant. This test detects the presence of the hormone hCG, which the body produces during pregnancy. If your pregnancy test is positive, we can also provide you with a free ultrasound.

While a positive over-the-counter pregnancy test is a good indication of pregnancy, only an ultrasound can determine viability. A limited ultrasound can be performed as early as 5.5 weeks from a woman’s last menstrual period. It is the only definitive way to evaluate for a progressing pregnancy.

During an ultrasound scan, a medical professional will ensure the pregnancy is located inside the uterus, look for and measure the heart rate, and measure the fetus to establish an estimated due date. An ultrasound can also rule out an ectopic pregnancy. This quick scan provides valuable information to aid in your decision-making process. It is important to note that our limited ultrasounds do not look for fetal abnormalities or determine gender.

If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is an essential step in the decision-making process. While your last menstrual period is a good way to tell how far along you are, it may not always be reliable. If you are more than 11 weeks pregnant, have certain health conditions, or are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, you are not eligible for the abortion pill. The above factors will determine the cost of an abortion. As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that does not provide or refer for abortion services, we never profit from your pregnancy decision, but can provide cost-free information, care, and pregnancy support.

Please note: Taking the abortion pill if the pregnancy is ectopic is extremely dangerous. Only an ultrasound can determine this information.

Additional note: In some cases, the ultrasound will show a nonviable pregnancy (meaning the pregnancy will not continue to develop). If you are experiencing a miscarriage, you should not take abortion pills or schedule an abortion clinic procedure. Our team is well-trained to support and refer you for further medical care.

Choosing an abortion without all the facts or without taking a glimpse into what is happening inside your body could negatively impact your health. A limited obstetric ultrasound can save you from the possible physical, mental, and emotional effects that an abortion decision can have on your overall health.

If you are pregnant and want support during or after your pregnancy, we can help. We provide free classes, parenting education, pregnancy support, material aid, and more. Our goal is to help you learn about your options, your pregnancy, and your health in a pressure-free environment.

Make an appointment for a cost-free on-site pregnancy test today to see if you qualify for a free ultrasound and proof of pregnancy.
